Palestrantes convidados:
Marike Paulsson 
Marike Paulsson has extensive experience in public international law, international arbitration, human rights, and cross-border litigation to advise clients on resolution of investment and commercial disputes with states through global strategy and commercial diplomacy.
A professor of international law, Ms. Paulsson is a leading expert on treaty compliance by states and the 1958 U.N. Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (New York Convention), and she often briefs judges and policy makers around the world on the treaty through constructive dialogues.
Ms. Paulsson is the Vice President for North America of the Global Legal Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution Centre of the University of São Paolo. She is also an appointed member of the Court of the Mauritius Arbitration and Mediation Centre, a member of the Judiciary Committee of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration, and a member of the jury for the Princess Sabeeqa Bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa Global Award for Women’s Empowerment, which is awarded by United Nations Women and Bahrain.
Ms. Paulsson graduated from Leiden University School of Law, holds an L.L.M in International Law from the University of Miami School of Law, and has a diploma from Sciences Po, Paris, where she studied political science. She speaks five languages and is a member and past member of the Dutch, Bahraini, and Belgian bar associations.

Hector Flores
With almost 15 years of experience in the field of ADR, Hector Flores has acted as arbitrator, tribunal’s secretary and counsel in national and international commercial arbitrations seated in Mexico and abroad. His practice is also focused on court procedures to assist and control arbitrations, including enforcement and setting aside of arbitral awards. Member of the Mexican Delegation before UNCITRAL since 2014; External Advisor to the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Relations on Private International Law; Professor of Law at Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM) on Arbitration and ADR; ICC Mexico Delegate before the Commission for Arbitration & ADR of the ICC; vice president of the Mediation Committee of the ICC’s Arbitration & ADR Commission in Mexico; member of ICDR’s advisory committee in Mexico.

Eleonora Coelho
Eleonora Coelho holds a master’s degree in litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) from Université Paris II – Panthéon Assas; and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of São Paulo Law School. Eleonora is former president of the Centre for Arbitration and Mediation of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (CAM-CCBC) (2019-2023). She is currently president of the Permanent Arbitration Commission of the São Paulo Lawyers Institute (IASP) (2022-2024). She also serves as vice-president of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Arbitraje (ALARB) for the 2024-2028 term. From 2020 to 2021, Eleonora was a Visiting Professor at the SciencesPo École de Droit de Paris, teaching a course on the “LL.M. in Transnational Arbitration & Dispute Settlement” program and she was a Guest Lecturer at the Paris Arbitration Academy (2019). Since 2009, Eleonora is repeatedly ranked as an outstanding professional in arbitration by Chambers & Partners, Who’s Who Legal and others.
